Five things I remembered for aikido class last night:

  1. How to roll.
  2. Gyaku hanmi.
  3. Ai hanmi.
  4. Beginners' mind. Not a big stretch, there.
  5. To practice in a vibrant and joyful manner.

Bonus: Five things I forgot:

  1. My contact lenses. Maybe I don't need them.
  2. My dues check.
  3. Not to slide on the mat. Mat burn! Ouch!
  4. How to remain standing. But only briefly.
  5. To find an excuse not to practice.
