Second Life to IRC Gateway

For those of us who want to participate in Second Life, but prefer the comfort and convenience of text mode, how about a server than translates between the SL and IRC protocols?

Server messages would have to be used to describe the surroundings, and special messages would have to be composed for navigation, but the main function of SL, exchange of information between avatars, maps relatively straightforwardly onto IRC.

That'd be neat.

Cool. I just googled up libsecondlife. Maybe Second Life can be useful after all; now I can chat with the cool kids.

I actually created relay system if you're interested, you can see it on http://www.quickfox.net/services/slgateway It's existed since Second life 1.9
